So like, Ira is still obsessed with this idea of moving to Tx.  I am not completely sold on it.  For Goddess sakes, I am not moving to ana rea of the country where I cannot be myself.  This is why I keep drilling in his head about Austin.  And Cali.  I like living in a an area where I am not  the "weird" one.  I like diversity in race and religion.  And I do not have any desire to live in suberbia like all of the rest of the clones..  I guess this si where I am supposed to figure out what I want with my life.  naturally i will never turn down an opportunity 2 leave nj but not to go to a place more backwards than to have GWB as their governor.

The only place I'd consider living in Texas is Austin - it's young, hip, has a great music scene, and is very diverse. However, I still don't think I'd want to move there even if Austin was a possibility. What's his reasoning behind it, warmer weather? No thanks, I like my four seasons!

His reasoning is partly due to warmer weather, partly due to cheaper prices (supposedly it was at one time cheaper to live there than in NJ, but now everywhere is relatively expensive with this economy) and mostly due to his best friend getting married and moving out there. Someday, I will post the whole story on that, but long story short, his friend E met a girl out there when he was in the Army, they kept in touch for many years, and E got sick of the drama in NJ, so E asked his friend to marry him.
