Yeah. That is the line they should feel all Caucasian (and caucasian looking) people whenever they will be on TV.  I dunno if proper "vetting" or what is needed, or a hearty helping of common sense.

Ok, this video was posted on a group I am in called "Interracial".  Apparently the Host at "Fox and Friends" had a bad case of hoof-in-mouth disease:

OK, so this guy said something really foolish.  Dumb in fact.  Although he was not actually giving his opinion on interracial marriage, he referred to it as "marrying other species".  Like, on a bad episode of Jerry Springer where the guy actually married his horse.  Ok the guy said something stupid and wrong.  Lord knows if he apologized, but hey!  Even Dog the Bounty Hunter got a second chance.  Why, I don't know.  I looked online to see how many people actually cared, and WHOA!  I guess with the jobless rates out there, there is a lot of people out there with nothing better to do but to post links to this video and bash this guy.  At least bashing him, for that statement, is understandable, but I would not compare him to Adolf Hitler like some people.

What kills me is that on the Comm, it became all all-out bashing of Fox News, the station.  Which, I will be the first to admit, is "Fair and Balanced News" is a bit of a stretch, but I get the fact - It was supposed to be in contrast to MSNBC.  Apparently launched around the same time as MSNBC but with far more viewers.  My parents are one of their regular viewers, and so I am more used to that station rather than MSNBC.  I started to watch it more during the election because I got the feeling that MSCBN was more of Obama's fan central.  While I actually voted for Obama, after much thought, I hated the fact that the election got so emotionally heated, and I got the feeling that everyone voted for Obama because he was the "Cool" candidate.  HUH?  WTF?  This isn't high school, this isn't American Idol - This is REAL LIFE.  Not that anyone knows what that is anymore, since youtube, facebook, myspace and twitter have all but replaced actual interaction with humans these days. I digress.

It's not even so much that I like watching the station, or any news station, for that matter.  It's all that I have for a reasonable choice at my job for a tv station.  That, MSNBC, CNN, or sports networks.  That's it.  And I am not a big fan of sports.  But what annoys me is that every "cool" figure in America that is not a military person or country music star bashes fox news.  Not just, does not watch it, but bashes it.  But they must watch it enough to know what goes on in the station.  Like that little clip I have.  As I told one of my coworkers, about Bill O'Reilly, the guy with the highest ratings for, oh who cares, "The guy gets a lot of viewers for the same reason that Howeird Stern does - he says enough things to piss people off but not enough to cause a major controversy.  Well, most of the time."  (Anyone remember the Harlem restaurant comments?  I said that around that time.)  And someone admitted to watching his show to get themselves pissed off.  I get pissed off enough by life.  I don't watch Fox News needlessly and I don't watch Sean Hannity after he seperated from Colmes.  Besides the fact that he was the oppositesite - being a Palin cheerleader.  I do not think she is an awful person, but I did not agree with her at all politically.  I am still pretty liberal when it comes to social instances.

What kills me about the whole liberal party atmosphere is that they are liberal, on MOST instances.  Not all.  I hate the fact that everyone who made a point to show and vote for Obama in California killed prop 8.  So, an African American president ok, but not gay marriage?  Or am I the only one who saw the irony?  I cannot stand it.

Oh well, that is all I can rant about for now.  I am definetly thinking of leaving the comm, but I would do it quietly.  No "floucing" or whatever they call it for me.  And not just over 1 entry.  Recently, the entire comm has turned into a "Which racial subset has the most suffering" contest.  I am all about losing the "us versus them" Mentality and let everyone live together in peace, love and happiness.  I know I am a big working hipie at heart.
